Chemong City Greens is here to ensure that affordable and highly nutritious food is always available to nourish our community. Our goal is to elevate the diversity of Peterborough and the surrounding community’s local food network by offering delicious organic microgreens!
Hi, I’m Matt, your local microgreens farmer! Born and raised right here in Peterborough, Ontario.
I’ve always been proactive about health and it’s no secret that diet plays a major role in overall well-being.
As the main cook in my home, I make it a priority to feed my family nutrient-dense food. Growing microgreens and adding them to my meals was an easy way to sneak in extra vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into my kids’ diet.
And — bonus! My kids actually love microgreens because they taste really darn good!
Growing microgreens quickly grew into an exciting hobby that transitioned into an opportunity to grow for others. Hence, Chemong City Greens was born!
Having met many of my customers, I am encouraged by their support and enthusiasm for these delicious tiny greens.
